Time For A Break

2006_03_srangerslib.gifYou can’t really blame the Rangers for being tired. Playing their 7th game in 11 nights, the Rangers came out flat, took several bad penalties and fell to the Senators 4-1. The loss leaves the Rangers with a four-point lead over Philadelphia, but the Flyers have two games in hand.

The Senators reaffirmed that they will be a force in the playoffs this year. Despite being without three of their top defensemen and the continuing absence of Dominik Hasek, Ottawa played a very good game. They contained Jaromir Jagr and took advantage of their power play opportunities.

The Rangers can now rest until they face the Flyers in a pivotal game on Wednesday. Philadelphia has weekend games against the Islanders and Devils, so Rangers’ fans will be in the odd position of rooting for the other local teams.

I spelled it the Old English way. Google that....

My apologies for the spelling error, maybe I was tired.

James, thanks for making me feel better with "grammer"

The Senators have to hope that their histrionics will continue to send their opponents to the box because even strength - not impressed.

And Jagr was sick and tried, uh, tired.

  • James

What were they tried for? Were they tried for bad grammer?
