Teammates Line Up as Bensons Split

Anna Benson; Photo: AnnaBenson.netTwo months after the Mets traded Kris Benson to the Baltimore Orioles, Benson and his wife Anna are heading to splittsville. Anna filed for divorce in Atlanta saying that her marriage was "irretrievably broken." The Daily News reports that Kris was cheating on his wife with one of her friends. Anna Benson's spokesperson told the News, ""She's completely crushed; she didn't see this coming." At the time of Kris Benson's trade, it was rumored that one reason the Mets wanted to trade the 31 year-old righty was because of Anna's antics.

On her husband cheating, Anna Benson previously said, "I told him cheat on me all you want. If you get caught, I'm going to screw everybody on your entire team. Everyone would get a turn. I will embarrass more than he ever could imagine. Whatever team he plays on, I will screw all of them." Her spokesperson said he thought she was joking. Orioles players probably hopes she puts her money where her mouth is...well, something like that.

God, I wish I was on the Orioles.

You gotta think Kris can't be that bright. He still says he hated leaving New York, but if he had stepped out on Anna two months ago, he'd still be a Met.

No really, is that chick famous for something?

She's famous for being Tien's screensaver.
