I'm pretty sure it's been there for quite a bit longer than two weeks. I'm not sure I would describe the poor thing as stolen it was treated like trash and often decorated with trash. My girlfriend just went out to look and says it is still on the ground just north of Motor City, cracked in half but pushed back together, chips of it along the sidewalk indicating where it was rolled.

any good drinker from the LES would know that the star is sitting right next to the northern window of the bar motor city. the red door way is right next to the small bodega. for the few with a car, ludlow btwn rivington and delancy.

I actually saw that star sitting outside a couple of weeks ago after eating at Thor and thought it would be cool to own, but it weighted like 500 pounds. I can't believe anyone would be surprised it was stolen since it looked like garbage where it was sitting.
