Very Cool: Meetup Ads on the MTA

2006_3_meetup1.jpg

We love it when hometown companies hit it big! Case in point: Meetup recently raised a big pile of money from Ebay, Allen and Co, the Omidyar Network, Esther Dyson, DFJ, and Senator Bill Bradley. They're apparently using some of this money to buy ads on the subway. Officially the campaign starts on April 1st, but Janelle and Esther both spotted ads today. The spots feature pictures from various Meetup groups-- so there's a chance that you might even be in one. Fun stuff.

Hi! My free Schnauzer/Schnoodle playgroup was featured in the Meetup Subway Ad. It's cool to see the poster in the "wild." Thanks for the mention!

And I heard Jen Chung wants a Schnoodle. Please tell her she can stop by and visit our Schnauzers & Schnoodles anytime! We're at Washington Square Park on April 9th. All dog lovers are welcome too.
