- If you hear loud noises, see flashes of light or a lot of emergency vehicles in Queens on Sunday don't panic, the City is just testing terror responses.

- So this drunk 18-year-old from Queens trespasses onto train tracks with his friends and tries to outrun the 7 train. He falls and his legs are amputated at the knee. And then he gets $1.4 million dollars? Huh?

- Clarence Norman was acquitted of scamming New York State with bogus travel reimbursements.

- But really, if terrorists hadn't thought of poisoning concession stand food, wouldn't you be a little disappointed?

- Gads! Liza Minelli approved "diet service" Zone Chefs was really a mob-run stock market scam?

- Finally, ponder the poor DoT metermaid up for a prison sentence for skimming $60 in quarters.

That story about the drunk 18-year-old from Queens who trespasses onto train tracks, falls, gets his legs amputated, and gets $1.4 million dollars from the TA really annoys me. Grrr ...

I hope this story gets more exposure. We need as many morons willing to risk life and limb against the MTA's mechanical beasts of burden as possible. Let's dangle a guaranteed 3 million dollar settlement, upon survival.

yeah, about that 18 year old? The driver should just have killed him... It'll look like an accident, and it'll be much cheaper ;)
