SPORTS: Does it seem like everyone you know is suddenly wrapped up in their fantasy leagues? If you're fully engullfed in your own, or if you're feeling left out because you just don't "get it" - head over to Housing Works for a discussion on fantasy baseball. Experts Ron Shandler (Baseball Forecaster), Sam Walker (Fantasyland), and Nate Silver (Baseball Prospectus) will let you know what it's all about.

Friday // 7pm // Housing Works Bookstore [126 Crosby btwn Houston and Prince] // Free

PARTY: After watching these guys tear up the dance floors in Austin last week, we suggest you head to Brooklyn and catch them on their home turf tonight. The Finger on the Pulse crew is back with some brand new beats from Texas. Awesome music, dance dance dancin' and free Vitamin Water and vodka from 1 to 2am. Seriously, it's the new Red Bull and vodka.

Friday // 11pm // The Lucky Cat [245 Grand St, Brooklyn] // Free

2006_03_arts_nietzche.jpgDISCUSSION: On our windowsill is a copy of Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Nietzsche. We don't leave it there to seem pretentious, we just really really want to finish it. It's been a couple of years, but we think we'll be done soon. It's described as a book "for none and all", so we think you might like it too. Either way, why not get a head start and catch Lawrence J. Hatab, author of Nietzsche's Life Sentence: Coming to Terms with Eternal Recurrence and scholar Joan Stambaugh discuss the ramifications of this philosophical debate for life, the possibility of contentment, and other...stuff.

Friday // 7pm // Mercy Manhattan College [66 W. 35th St., Rm. 704] // $5

FILM: Finders of found items Nick Prueher, Joe Pickett and Geoff Haas bring us, once again, the Found Footage Festival. Old videos found at thrift stores, on the street and wherever else you people try to hide your scandalous/embarrassing/hilarious celluloid. The clips will be commentated on by the founders, hilarity (and sometimes confusion) will ensue.

Friday and Saturday // 7pm // Galapagos [70 N 6th St, Williamsburg] // $10
