That's Some Nice Terra-cotta Polychromy!

Remember the Save the Tunnel Garage story from back in December? Well, we've got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that the signage on the building has been removed, revealing the beautiful mosaic work-- check out that car! The bad news is that the building is now surrounded by scaffolding, and is probably going to be knocked down. Let's hope that if the Garage gets destroyed, someone will preserve the art. And if you're in SoHo, definitely visit the garage-- it's on the corner of Thompson and Broome.
