Map of the Day: Vegans Vegans Everywhere!

Today's map is a special gift for all our vegan friends: SuperVegan has a great mashup showing all the vegan, vegetarian, and semi-vegetarian restaurants in town. The callouts vary from green (all vegan) to orange (mostly not-vegan.) Looks like the East Village and the Center Village near Washington Square park are straight up vegan paradises. Bon appetite! [Semi-related: our favorite vegan shoe store is MooShoes-- because true vegans don't wear leather shoes!]

What a fantastic idea! This should be a veggie travel guide option, and for the environmentally aware maybe even a software download into the Prius navigation system.

As a vegetarian I am glad to see that you haven't forgotten us non-meat eaters.

I did try to go vegan, but I couldn't give up a good slice.

Now is there a vegetarian matzoh ball soup out there?
