Delly Collado was a good close friend of mine, I still feel numb, saddened, shocked and empty inside, when I got the news (from my other friend who called to tell me that she was found dead in a car) Saturday morning. First of all, the she and the guy(he was a supposed friend) were not boyfriend & girlfriend (not a couple) just friends. Last time I spoke to her she going to a party that another friend was DJing in Brooklyn on Friday night, and ask me If was gonna go. I told her couldn't make it. Her last words to me were "OK I'll see you tomorrow, she says- Yeah tomorrow ma, you enjoy your self ok, I said- You too bye, she said." I close my mobile phone and that was it...
My friend who was DJing the party was the last to speak to her, Delly called him for driving direction to the party in Brooklyn from where she lived in Queens. She and her friend never made it. If your curious and want to, you can pay your respects at www.myspace.com/dellydee.

"Delly, all of us will miss and love you always!!!"

Thanks to those for your time in reading this post.

The Times doesn't mention that the couple was naked?
Is it my imagination or is the Times being a bit of a nanny to its readers lately? It's bizarre that they neglected to mention such a pertinent detail. I know they pride themselves on being in good taste, but when you go beyond good taste you just get bland blah and only half a story.
There's something to be said for the blaring headliner of "lovebirds die in fume horror" getting the point across succinctly. (Even if it isn't exactly how I'd like my own grand exit to be summed up.) It's better than not saying what actually happened. (Needless to say I'll remember to switch the ignition off next time I make it in a car).

That is really bizarre and tragic. And definitely a "what the hell were they thinking" story.

I'd also like to say that just because a commenter uses "Jen" and might put in the Gothamist URL does not make the commenter me.
