Bouncer Still a "Person of Interest" But Not ID'd in Other Crme Line-Up

2006_03_wantedposter.jpgThe bouncer at the Falls bar and restaurant is still in custody at Rikers for parole violation, as police consider Darryl Littlejohn a "person of interest" in the murder of graduate student Imette St. Guillen. But he was not identified during a line-up for a Queens rape case, leading his lawyer to say his client feels like a scapegoat, and emphasizes he's never been violent towards women. Detectives in Queen and Nassau County had hoped to link Littlejohn to three rape-and-kidnappings, but the victim in one attack was thought Littlejohn was not as big as her attacker (the police sketch of her attacker is at right). However, the police continued to search Littlejohn's home in Queens, taking out the plumbing and even a bed headboard earlier today. Police sources say that semen found on the comforter St. Guillen's body was wrapped in was not from Littlejohn and believe that cat hair on the blanket is from the basement of the Falls, leading to one hypothesis - that there was another person involved. (The carpet fibers found at the crime scene that were a match to Littlejohn's carpet are now considered inconclusive, since it is a popular carpet type.) Police are also reviewing one witness's account, because her story seems to have many discrepancies.

Public criticism seems to be shifting from Littlejohn, whose role is still unclear, to the Falls bar manager Danny Dorrian for not telling the police that he had asked Littlejohn to escort St. Guillen out and that he heard arguing, causing the investigator to lose precious days in finding out what happened. A protest is planned outside the Falls tonight at 8PM. Additionally, friends of St. Guillen are supporting Littlejohn's parole officer with her complaint that her caseload was too large.

good afternnon mytime here in cali my name is envy i have posted once before. i have been watching this news coverage from the day this had begun and will continue intill the day this case has come to a close. as of today breaking news stated that littlejohns blood was found and tested and matched for dna results.. last night i sat up with my wife because i was so frightned at the factor that there might be someone on the loose that comitted this crime as of this afternoon i felt at little at ease for the fact that they have actual evidence that states he was a prime suspect.. even though i live in cali i put together alot things that could happen to any woman.. it bothered me so bad that i even went on my space and took out my school info and what i felt a murderous killer would want to know for there next victim... i know that sounds pretty scary but it made me think that if some individual could do this to her maybe he is looking at profiles of all woman from different schools it made me sick and confused that i even felt uneasy in my own home. at least today i can wake up and say i feel ok that they do have evidence and they can convict him now the only thing that still bothers me is that there may or may not be someone else involved and that bothers me even more because last night i kept telling my wife while i was worried because i could not sleep is that i felt deep in my heart that in some way this man littlejohn is involved but did he actually do it and if he didnt this so called sick individual could still be out there what makes it worse is that while i was trying to get rest i woke out of sound sleep feeling deep inside my heart that there still could be someone else out there . i hardly ever have bad feelings about things like this and when i do i know something is most indefinately wrong. maybe its my wishful thinking but maybe thats my gift that god has gave me to profile ppl in line of work i would like to do.. i cannot say that i am a psychic but i do feel that human emotion more than usual when it comes to things or situation like this.. what i can say though before closing is that i can atleast get some rest after today knowing there in at least one individual in custody at this time that holds the key to what really happen. its just a matter of getting that person to talk.. my heart goes out to her mother and her sister cause i have children too and i would not want any woman nor any family memeber of friend or cousin or anyone to feel and go through what this family has had to experience its unmoral and sad and i hope that god will prevail in this situation i would not want for no one to go through what they have gone through and what ever more eveidence they find out and discover in this case. what ever does transpire from this horrific crime i pray that the lord will ease all the pain and suffering of all the people that loved her.. envy

I just learned in addition to The Falls and Red Hand, the Dorrians also own a bar/club called Barna on Park Ave South and 26th. A college/frat buddy of mine is a promoter there, so I've been there a couple times to get VIP treatment. The last time I was there, about a month ago, I was standing outside around 4am, when someone from behind broke a bottle over my head. I turned around and saw the piece of scum running around the corner like a coward. But I was told by everyone who saw it happen that he came from inside Barna. What is with the Dorrians and hiring/attracting shady characters?

Here's a theory: Littlejohn had almost a whole week to cover his tracks and destory evidence because Danny Dorrian misled the cops.

  • here's a theory

Here's a theory. Littlejohn didn't do it, but the NYPD have been trying SO HARD to make evidence fit to make it look like he did that the real killer is probably in Manitoba by now.

  • sorry

Does anyone really think the good ole Irish NYPD is going to get the Irish Superstars of NYC- The Dorrians in trouble?

I could see Jack Dorrian telling them, "your going to send my son to jail for some drunk spanish whore"?

Blame the black man. Damn shame.

what's the protest about or for?

  • YeahOkay

I think that deng is an ignorant idiot, along with a host of others. Glad that free speech allows them to express their idiocy.

  • hahahaha

here's a theory: speculation at this point is silly. the evidence is just starting to come in. we still need DNA evidence, and the other data thus far is inconclusive. rather than exercise our imaginations and prejudices, let's see what the evidence shows.

Here's a thoery. She was the last customer to at the bar right? So says the bartender right? But he's known to be a liar. Okay now, from the bar accounts there seemed to be two bartenders and two bouncers left at the bar with Imette at closeing, right? They've noticed that she's come in by herself they keep giving her drinks, the bartender strikes up a conversation. She might have blurt out in a drunken stoop that her best friend was a light weight and bailed on her. So now he concludes that no one knows she's here so he and the others plot to have a little fun with her. So the spike her drink (there was no confrontation with Imette getting upset about not being able to finish her drink, like what was stated in the media) he (bartender) has Littlejohn and other bouncer kick her out. Both bouncers take her out. Other bouncer leaves Littlejohn and Imette. Littlejohn keeps up a conversation with Imette right outside the backdoor while the two bartender prepare to have fun. The two bartenders sneak up behind her somehow (hence the muffled scream they reported) she puts up a fight which makes the men angry so they start to beat her. Drag her through the trap door (the one that the police find) to the basement where the two bartenders, possibly Littlejohn and even possibly the other bartender was in on it. In the basement they take there anger out on her they all repeatedly rape and torture poor Imette for hours. Before finally killing her and having Littlejohn and possibly one other person dump her body off. Maybe Littlejohn didn't want to participate but was forced to because of his record and Dorrian knew that. The the other person that was sent to dump the body with Littlejohn, felt bad as Littlejohn did so they decide to call 911. The NYPD need to look more closely into this Dorrian. I think he might be a big player in this game.

Regarding the carpet fibers being so common, that it is inconclusive: this is probably true as it regards the likelihood that a jury would or should find a guy guilty in a potential death-penalty crime if this is the best 'forensic' evidence prosecutors have.

However, assume that one in 1,000 homes in NYC have this carpet (a very generous assumption the carpet company would love to be true); this means the odds of any particular individual having the carpet is very low - .1%. If innocent, the chance that Darryl Littlejohn (last person to be seen with the victim of a gruesome crime) would this carpet were not at all high. Indeed, there was a 99.9% chance that he would NOT have a carpet matching the fibers found on the victim.

Well, it's either an extraordinary beating of the odds, or the fellow is guilty.

If his carpet fibers do indeed match those found on victim, I think we all should be hoping that the police find even more conclusive evidence against this guy because if they don't, the likelihood that a violent, savage murderer will remain on the streets is high.

So what are we saying the NYPD sucks?

They never caught Sarah Fox's killer? Remember that?

They tried blaming that guy Sheinman.

They also called Sarah Fox'x killer, a serial killer whos a sexual psychopath.

I'm sorry but they don't have enough evidence to convict littlejohn.

  • Funny, dude.

  • rosey

So if littlejohn didnt do it than who did?

It was someone at the bar, so why doesn't he talk?

Cause hes involved with the murder-the guy is done. Maybe the Dorrian guys all raped and cut her up in the back and they gave her to littlejohn to tape up and dump off.

I think that fugitive recovery sketch was from another rape that occurred and they think it's him.

I've noticed they're putting glasses on Littlejohn in some sketches, don't know if it's real or photoshopped.

He was in two line ups, so far, no on ID'ed him.

That included having the line up say something to jog the victims memory.

As was summarized above, the carpet fibers found were so common, it's inconclusive.

Some of us has to work as well. Has anything changed? This sicko (also known as Nazi in his neighbourhood) who has been posing as federal agent should have been behind bars. I blame liberal laws for that. Thank god he will be sent to jail in any case. Best scenario for him is that somebody else may have been also involved. Does anybody really believe that he may not be guilty?? You are hopeless.

By the way, I see several racists rants in this board some of which were targeted at me and some at the white victim ("she got what she deserved" for perhaps making racially charged joke about this sicko - btw, doesn't that also confirm that sicko is guilty??). Anyway, I have to say this is not the first time I (as a recent immigrant) have encountered racism in this country from far-left activists who claim to be against racism.

  • just saying

That police drawing of Littlejohn looks a lot different than his mugshot photo.

  • rev pays

Today was also the first time I saw Littlejohn having his head covered by cops when entering the precinct or rikers. Or, wherever he was being transported to.

  • hahahaha

it's funny how all the right-wing idiots like deng and others who were calling for lynching littlejohn are silent today.

look, i don't know if littlejohn was involved in this murder or not, but i do know that making a case before all the evidence is gathered is short-sighted. just because a guy has been involved in a crime before doesn't mean that he's automatically guilty whenever another crime happens.

and the best part is that i know that edex, deng and the rest of you guys will in no way admit to having done anything wrong if littlejohn turns out to be inncent of this crime. there's humor in that, i think.
