- It makes us go crazy to think that the second trial of Romona Moore's murders could end in a mistrial (the first one was a mistrial after the two defendants tried to kill a lawyer and court officers) - let's hope the juror sticks this out
- Your Citibank debit card might not be working because of the crazy fraud schemes abroad
- This is novel: Paying your kids to be tutored
- The NY Sun asks and it gets cleaner flags downtown
- Unions go for monsters these days
- The NY Times names its new City Hall Bureau Chief and ends the memo with, we kid you not, "We can't wait to get the party started," which we thought was on the list for "phrases limited to 2005"
- Doubt that we'll be seeing a fuzzy lobster on Cute Overload, but it's interesting anyway

I've heard many complaints from friends who have visited London within the past few years that their credit cards get unauthorized charges originating from the UK. A few weeks after I visited, someone charged my credit card over a thousand dollars for auto parts in Manchester, even though I’ve never been there, only to London.

From double swiping to illegally copying CC numbers, the UK can be pretty bad. But keep using those CC’s. It’s not like you’re liable for the charges anyway. But stay aware.

Love the photo of Jake Dobkin! Really captures the essence of his personality.

sorry to rag on one of your sponsors, but goddam i hate that show speaking of faith. krista tippet sounds like she needs a good banging.

Nice to see the NY Sun continue it's trend of being totally irrelevant to anything in NYC. I have a story idea Sun staffers; why do all those teens wear such baggy pants?

Don't mess with the Big Apple...

Re: Romona Moore trial: I second your hope that the juror sticks this one out. Sorry to hear about the kid, but do the right thing, juror, & put these guys away for life. This case has troubled me from the minute I heard about it -- even more so than the Imette St. Guillen tragedy. What makes it even worse is that it's receiving considerably less coverage, and the monsters who did it might walk, or get off easy.

that is one rotten apple!
