I got stuck by that L train and spend twenty minutes between Graham and Grand -- finally, we got to Grand, only to take fifteen more minutes to get to Jefferson. The conductor used the system to say "Attention, passengers... (twenty second pause) Testing, one two" for the first twenty, and then finally, on the SECOND delay, told us that the train had derailed.

    Gah.
