Joe, you hit it right on the head. There isn't a plan. Just take on huge contracts and hope that throwing a bunch of players together will create a winning team. If the Knicks had been smart they would have let Hardaway's contract expire, or only trade it for draft picks. Instead they pick up a 29-year old point guard who doesn't want to be a point guard. They need to stop the reckless spending and throw the young guys out there nightly and see what they have. It's going to take a few years, but if they keep trying to rebuild this way they never will.

Is there a plan to what Isiah is doing or is he just randomly shuffling players? I'm just a casual fan but there doesn't seem to be much purpose to his personnel moves.

thomas is the best GM ever! i think all the other GMs know that if they need to get rid of salary, they can turn to the knicks.
