A Lovely White Castle Valentine's

When we first saw that White Castle was having a special Valentine's Day at their locations, Gothamist hoped that someone would go. Thankfully, we have some friends that decided to (our better half hates White Castle). As promised, there were tablecloths, candles, and a host. As a bonus, diners wWe're told that the manager/greeter at the Metropolitan Ave White Castle even spoke French. White Castle? Nay, Le Chateau Blanc. There was even a crystal-like swan to hole some "after-dinner" candy. All that on top of some tasty and cheap burgers. You better believe that we're kicking ourselves for not going ourselves yesterday.

The WC on Willoughby St. in Brooklyn was awful. No hostess, only homeless. Sounds like the others were really cool.

im glad i didnt go to this...it would have broken my streak of seeing a sleeping homeless person in every white castle i've ever been to.

We got lucky at the White Castle on Metropolitan. (not that kind of lucky:)

The manager/greeter, Franz, spoke French, so the Francophile of the group ordered his slyders in French. I guess the best part of the experience was the manager. Props to Franz!!!!

Definitely was "thrilling" to spend Valentine's day at White Castle. (that's the best word to describe it.)

Thrilling = fun + scary (like a rollercoaster)

Fun because everyone in our group and most of those other people on valentine's dates were having a great time.

Scary because I was too afraid to go to the bathroom because a customer at the counter, who I probably wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley kept staring at us, and I was a afraid, he'd follow me into the bathroom if I went.

But all in all, a great time, and I'd go again next year if they have the same event.
