Hello, I'm a member of the Committee to Save St. Brigid's -- I wrote the church history that you've quoted above -- and I'm writing to say that the article in the Post was unduly pessimistic -- and that we're in the midst of mounting an appeal to block the demo order! So please understand: the demolition is by no means a fait accompli. It would help our cause for you to rethink your entry. i spent many a morning waiting for the M9 across the street from st. brigid the first year i lived in the city. not to change the subject, but what's the building across the street? i've always been fascinated by that one.
