Once you download the program and install the placemark, you can move around the Atlantic Yards development in three dimensions-- it really gives you a sense of size and scale of the development. I remember reading how the guy who built the Williamsburg Savings Bank Building made it so tall because he was speculating that the skyscraper boom would make it's way through Brooklyn and he wanted to be ahead of the game. I wonder if he's still alive to see that he was right after all.
wow, this map is just making me realize that they're blocking my direct route up 5th avenue to target. It's the only easy way to get there from that side of Atlantic. Down with this!
