In real life, Marvel's first office was an apartment in Tudor City, just steps away from the Baxter Building. Coincidentally, Tudor City was the location for the Green Goblin's apartment in the Spiderman movies. Anyone interested in this stuff should definitely read The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Klay.

There are many theories that Superman is Jewish (like his creators, Schuster & Siegel). One involves his name, Kal-El. In Hebrew: Kal = all. It is pronounced Koal. El = God. The pronunciation is the same.
