Gothamist Comics: 716

716 by Marianne R. Petit is a weekly autobiographical comic painting endless tales of her life in a rent-stabilized apartment building in Manhattan. The stories she tells about the celebrities she runs into, her fellow inhabitants of 716, and the bordello the super ran out of his apartment are so deeply New York, and bursting with vivid color. Which is ironic. Because she draws in black & white.

This comic is gorgeous. Thanks for presenting something I never would have found on my own.
