I have a one eyed cat too! he had meningitis as a kitten. Poor guy. Does their depth perception ever improve? or will he swat at the kitty fishing pole from 3 feet away for the rest of his life?

it's interesting that every news organization has mentioned that this stamp raise snuck right up on them. and they're okay with that? how about calling attention to the fact before and stopping it?

Travis is my fiance's cat [Jay got him 15.5 years ago (!!!) at a NYC Bide-a-Wee; Travis was a 2 year old "tree rescue" back then]. There was this brownish mass in Travis's left eye, and the vet recommended that it be removed, since there was no way to biopsy it and since it might be malignant. Once the eye was taken out, it turned out to be benign, but what can you do? Travis adapted well and is a real charmer. But Jay refuses to let me put an eyepatch on Travis for Halloween.

another idea is to simply bring a $10 bill (or several, depending upon how many stamps you need) and use the stamp machines peppered throughout the post office lobbies. no lines.

you can order stamps online. they charge you $1 for shipping and they send them priority mail so they get there in about 3 days.
