Is TV this dangerous: A Brooklyn man was arrested for strangling his sister to death, apparently over an argument about a TV's volume on Monday night. The police arrested Ozem Goldwire after the ME's office confirmed Sherika Goldwire's death was a homicide. Police also say that Goldwire called 911 saying his sister was unconscious, but confessed when arrested. However, Goldwire's parents are disbelieving, with his mother saying that the siblings each had a TV (so Ozem wouldn't have reason to kill her) and claims Ozem never confessed and that he actually told police he found the house ransacked. But one neighbor tells the Post that the two were in fact arguing.

You know, it's never about what they say it's about, is it? It's not about the TV. It's a crazy motherfucker with no impulse control and a mean streak who took things too far. And now a family member is dead. Way to make the holidays awkward, man.
I can see the "Christian" nutjob censorship lobby screaming "Television leads to violence."
