I went to the Knicks-Utah game on the 23rd and after the national anthem and before the start of the game one of the players took to the court with a mic and basically apologized for the team sucking so bad. Kind of pathetic, but I appreciated the acknowledgement that at least they know they're horrible. I wonder if that happens before every game? That has to be demoralizing.

The NJ Nets deserve all the credit; their management has worked hard to field a team worthy of loyal fans. I remember during the Knicks strong days during the 90's going to the Meadowlands to see an arena full of knicks fans during these matchups.

The knicks suck, will continue to suck, and should be paying people to see the games. The Dolan's should be beheaded in herald square, and the jets and giants should be legally forced to change their names to NJ.

When the Nets move back to NY they will deserve all the loyalty of the local fans and any competition between the NY teams will be hard fought and hard earned.

I think in the last 19 meetings, the Nets have won 16 of them. And the Nets radio coverage of the game rather gleefully pointed out how the Garden was QUIET during the game.
