Take it from this happily married old man: NY1's ladies are talented broadcast journalists...and hot. And what about the NYTimes front-page story about reporters smiling their way through the strike, highlighting NY1's boy wunderkindt Pat Kiernan? I also got my strike coverage from NY1 and they did a commendable job.

Jen, I've gotta admit that I feel like I've been crushing on *you* these past weeks. Between refreshing gothamist every few minutes hoping for an update (we don't have TV here in bushwick) and reading gothamist when going away for holidays (gosh we miss NYC even when we're gone for a few days), I feel like we go way back. it doesn't matter what you look like, what you do...only that you created and write the best NYC blog in existance. and because of your great work here, I am both grateful and have a bit of a crush. keep up the good work! ~ptrk
