First Major Service Disruptions Post-Strike!

Remember that sweet, sweet feeling when we reminded you that there were no major subway diversions planned for this weekend?

Uhm, we take it back.

At about 6 this morning a water main at West 23rd Street and Broadway burst flooding the nearby station. Which of course has disrupted service. So, FYI: There is currently no Q service in Manhattan, the R is running on V and F tracks, the N in Brooklyn is running only from Stillwell to Whitehall and in Queens is running only from Ditmars to Lexington in Manhattan.

But at least the trains are running, eh!

Don't blame the MTA.
It was an ancient water main that broke.
A lot of the infrastructure in the city like that is very old.

Blame the MTA for everything and anything.
