With Satan's Laundromat on permanent hiatus, it's left to us to gather the most amusing signs of the 2005 Transit Strike. So far, we've found these four, which are all moderately amusing-- all from the Transit Strike stream on Flickr. We'll be walking around downtown later on today, so hopefully we'll spot some more signs then. If you've got any good sign pictures, let us know!

The restaurant with the "MTA Strikers NO LONGER WELCOME" sign is Pershing Square on 42nd underneath Park Ave and across from Grand Central.

I, along with the other 52% of New Yorkers that support the workers won't be going there. I'm sure they'll do fine, I suppose, given that 40% still support the MTA (numbers according to the ABC/SurveyUSA Poll).

Although, if WWRL radio's poll is an accurate indication, with 71% supporting the workers to 14% supporting the MTA, they might be in for a world of hurt.
