Another Loss for the Jets

2005_12_shermmiami.jpgSure, Jets fans collectively feel the need to “Just End The Season”, but at least the team keeps showing up. Maybe all the excuses are legit. Maybe they’re not that bad after all. At least not as bad as other 3-11 teams are. Maybe they are just true professionals with a particularly loving huggable coach. Well, they certainly get paid enough to be.

Regardless, they lost again Sunday, 24-20 at the hands of the Dolphins (7-7), who were eliminated from the AFC playoffs as San Diego and Pittsburgh won. Miami fans could still walk away smiling, as the 1972 Dolphins remained the only team to finish unbeaten in the modern era.

In the final Monday Night Football game with a network audience, the Jets take on New England next week.
