Please Explain: Post Op-Ed Postings

2005_12_18_seesomething.jpg So does anybody have any idea who is putting this irritating Post op-ed up on the spanish "if you see something" posters on the subways? Because the more we look at 'em the sadder we get. Seriously. Don't believe us? Actually read the op-ed and try not scratch your head in confusion. Fighting terrorism and the idea of making English the "official language" have so little to do with each other, further Arnold Ahlert's Op-Ed is so poorly argued, that we just don't understand why someone would bother going around putting these things up (unless, of course, the whole thing is a Post viral marketing campaign?).

We've noticed them on the train once or twice, we just hadn't really seen them until they was pointed out on Gothamist Contribute last night. Personally, we much preferred it when people were just posting pigs onto the "see something" posters...

I actually heard two teenagers discuss it loudly and rudely in the 6 train yesterday. I am certain the Spanish-speaking family in front of them resented it as much as I did. Very, very sad.

How about english grammar proficiency as a pre-req for blog editing?

Well emilypost, this blog is better written than any of the drivel in Rupert's Rag/Republican Pravda, aka The New York Post.
