If you were out and about in the wee hours last night you got the worst of the weather for the next few days. Nearly two inches of rain fell on Central Park overnight. Luckily, the ground had warmed up enough in the city prevent the rain from freezing. The temperature briefly got up to 54 this morning before falling into the 40s soon after sunrise.
The weekend is looking nice compared to the weather we've had lately. Mostly sunny tomorrow, a few clouds Sunday. High temperatures will hover around 40 each day. Since Gothamist has to do all our holiday shopping this weekend we are happy to have a little break in the weather. The nice weather looks like it may continue through next weekend.

It is good to have a nice seemingly warm weekend to go out and shop or whatever and forget about the greedy TWU and their wannabe Mike Quill leader.
By the way, WTNH is licensed to New Haven, not Hartford. Just query the FCC and you'll see!
I agree, it's nice to have something else to talk about for a change.
