Hibernation @ Silo

Fittingly, tonight is the opening reception for the latest exhibit at Silo entitled Hibernation.

This weather makes us want to stay inside, submerge ourselves in hot water, curse a lot and check out cheap airfare to a tropical island (not particularly in that order). Starting tonight, however, we can get a short relief from the cold (or at least commiserate with others) at Hibernation. The group show aims to awaken us, as well as the artists. On display will be in-progress, interrupted and uresolved projects dwelling on the idea of a temporary halt in our lives. The exhibit may just get the creative juices flowing for the artist (or at least help them embrace positive effects of cabin fever) and, as for us, we're sure it can't hurt. So try to put off getting under your covers so quickly tonight and head over to the gallery, where dormancy is celebrated!
