  • any storm that is forecasted as "the big one" never is. two examples:

    1-in february of 1996 they reposted a storm, but no significant accumulation. we had 3ft in the end.

    2-almost 3 years ago again in february on presidents weekend/valentines day/iraq war march etc they said no accumulations. we had nearly 3ft of snow and i remember this cuz that was the weekend i had a friend in from philly and she was stuck in nyc for 4 days.

    "they're" never right.
