They would sell 50s which ALWAYS contained 1.4 grams. This way, they would gross $1,000 for every ounce they sold. 1.4 grams/$50 X 20 = 1 ounce (28 grams).

The DEA is full of *SH*T when it says it is examining all the phone numbers of customers. There is no legal basis for them to do anything with them. Since possession of small amounts at home is not a 'crime' in New York (i.e. misdemeanor or above), suspicion of such is also not a valid excuse for a search warrant. And if they ever released the names on the list, I'm sure more than one of the higher profile people would sue.....

Good to see the DEA is spending its resources on a drug that has been decriminalized in New York State (less than 25g is a 'civil citation', a $100 fine, i.e. not even a misdemeanor). It took 80 agents for this operation??? What a waste of tax dollars!

I wouldn’t exactly call it overpriced. Some pot, such as NYC Diesel, has the potency to seriously fuck you up (In a good way). So much so that its priced in the same range as coke or H. So these celebs must be getting high grade shit for the price. Pot is not your regular weed anymore. Its a whole other ballgame. The more you know…

Don't the cops have anything better to do? I don't suppose I blame them though. It's much easier and safer to bust small-time drug dealers instead of real criminals, like murderers, rapists, and Wall Street fraud types.

First of all- fabulous Heathers reference, Martha DUMPtruck! Second- I don't think it was $100 for 2 grams. It was more like the standard $50 for a little over three grams (almost an eighth). Oh, and they royally sucked and repeatedly gave empty promises to deliver to my apt. w/out ever coming through.

Wow. I had no idea those guys were still in business. They were very well known to your average Stuy kid like six years ago. I just assumed that they couldn't still be kicking around with the idiots they had working the phones (worst. operators. ever.). I guess I was wrong. I guess we all were.

Wow, I always thought these guys were able to keep the cops out of their hair through some sort of mafia/police/payoff protection. It's ashame that got nailed. I'm all about cops protecting me from the nasty world, but now I have to find a new solution for when my stash gets low. Does anyone know how these delivery services manage to stay in operation at all without constantly getting busted up by the police?
