I don't think watching TV on the small ipod screen is a good idea. Anyhow the DVDs are a better value for money. Law & Order and its spinoffs are some of the better shows on TV, plus they are all filmed on location. I hate these shows that try to pass LA or Toronto off as NYC, since if they are not done well it can be distracting. One of the reasons I dislike CSI: NY is that it is mainly filmed in LA, another is that it is highly inaccurate.

Never fear mickster, there will always be a small silent minority of Gothamisters who not only don't like L&O but in fact can't stand it or any of its procedural brethren. Not that any of us would ever admit to such an enormous lapse in Gothamistaste. At least not publicly...

and old shows should be $.99. Seems silly to charge the same as new content. And I'm not buying the whole season of KR on it, just making a for instance.

- yes for free, but you have to find what time it is on, and hope it's an episode you even want to see. - it's the price of convience. yes, I have Knight Rider on DVD - but what is worth more to me, the hours it will take to encode them to digital (billing at my standard freelance rate) or just buy them in digital form. My time is worth something, and it's worth more than $30 a season.

2 bucks is too damn much for DRM based TV shows. You can rent a DVD of a TV show, rip it, encode it and get it on your iPod if you must without any nasty DRM.
