Just another example of the downfall of New York city as an artistic capital. More chain stores and dunkin dounuts please, let's make this place acceptable for mall morons and car boho's.

I moved to NYC to get away from stuff like this in the south. If you can't escape NASCAR in NYC, where do you go from here?

It's easy to zoom around a track at 200mph, especially if it's all left-hand turns. If these Nascar drivers want to impress me, let's see them do their "victory lap" through everyday midtown traffic, not on streets blocked off from traffic.

The Staten Island Advance (the forgotten daily newspaper from the forgotten borough) did a series about the whole NASCAR on SI thing. All I can say is NO BUBBAS!

I remember seeing the cars parked in Times Square with people handing out flyers. I was wondering what the display was all about. I hope Nascar gets nixed on Staten Island. I don't know one person from there that wants it.
