4/5/6 Train Delays Due to Subway Death

2005_11_456.jpgAfter getting emails and reading comments on Gothamist Contribute about some sort of delay on the Lexington Avenue 4/5/6, it turns out that a man was killed by a subway. It happened on the 6 line at East 77th Street, and trains are reportedly only running express in both direction between 125th Street and Grand Central. The police are investigating his death. This is the second subway death this week; on Sunday, Eddie Guzman was pushed in front of a 7 train by his friend during a fight.

weird... the 456 was running express (but at a crawl) Tuesday night in both directions, because "a man was sick" somewhere above 42nd street. very bizarre foreshadowing. very bizarre.
