Tidbits

2005_11_food_biscuit.jpg- An Eater reader spotted a sign on the window of the space that was briefly Yumcha from Marc Murphy, the chef and owner of Landmarc, announcing his intention to open a new oyster bar after minimal renovation. Andrea Strong now reports that it will be named Watermarc.

- The New York Post shows us where to find some of the city's spiciest food and found the hottest heat on East Sixth Street -- try the phaal at Brick Lane Curry House.

- New York Metro rounds up some breakfast spots, including Williamsburg darling Egg and the much over-hyped Shake Shack. We'll take the Clinton Street Baking Company for breakfast any day just to have more of their drool-inducing maple butter or buttermilk biscuits (unless we're looking for chilaquiles).

Eating food solely because it's spicy is dumb. Likeing food for this reason is even dumber.

i do NOT get the clinton st. baking co. mania
i live around the corner, and basically, all the people waiting outside on the weekend for brunch just pi** me off
to get in to have breakfast at my "local" joint, i basically have to take a day off from work
and its not really even all that good, i mean, come on, its just breakfast food people!!!!!
