<p>>>>>The LPC has recently come under fire by NYC residents trying to save the building at 2 Columbus Circle, which was recently sold to the Museum of Arts and Design, who intend to cover the existing white marble exterior with in terra-cotta tiles.

Lots of weeping and gnashing of teeth about 2 Columbus Circle, but the LPCwon't get involved in Astoria Village, Flushing, and other "outer-borough" neighborhoods being eviscerated so more Fedders specials can go up. It's a question ofwhose supporters have more moo-la-di.
