Pizza House Rules

When you offer people 5 cent pizzas, you need to set some ground rules. Here's the sign hanging outside of Lombardi's today, during its 5-cent-pizza-pie promotion for its 100th birthday:
- One Pizza Per Table
- Dine In Only
- Toppings, Salad and Drinks at Regular Price
- Parties of 5 or More Will Be Split into Multiple Tables
- 45 Minute Limit Per Table
- First Come, First Served, No Reservations
- Cash Only

The line actually did seem to be moving pretty quickly. Gothamist didn't stay, which means we'll have to go tomorrow to sate our craving for some thin crust pizza. What we found amusing were the classic cars parked outside; we're not sure if they played a part in the promotion, but they were pretty.

hahahahahaha "cash only!"

okay, you must have taken the shot of people in line around when I left because I almost took a picture of the guy in the cowboy hat.

It took 45 minutes for us. If you were in a party of 3 or 4, they'd take you in almost right away. Once inside it only took about 2 minutes for the pizza to be brought to the table.

Wait on line for two hours to save 10 bucks on a pizza. Smart.
