Well, my parents gave me what I like to call the no-brainer of names. There were three Jennifers in my 20-kid 4th grade class - how's that for individuality? As insane as it is, maybe there is something in naming your kid Apple or Moxie Crimefighter. And Joi, I hear you.

Ha! This is funny. I used to spell it Joey, but it's actually short for "Joichi". Someone spelled it "Joi" once and it switched. The problem is, if I spell it Joey, some people extend it to "Joseph"... which is wrong.

Easy solution for Joi. Just change the spelling and pronunciation of his name a tiny bit. Joey Ito works fine. Of course, some people might still have a problem identifying the gender, thanks to Joey Heatherton.
