Subway Nerds Rejoice: iPod MTA Map!

2005_12_subwaymapipod.jpgHot on the heels of our PSP MTA map last month, a Gothamist reader sent us a link to iSubwayMaps-- yup, you guessed it-- now you can listen to "Hey Ya!", find your stop, and get mugged, all at the same time! The maps were originally taken from the MTA map, but after a cease-and-desist order, they've been completely redrawn-- and very well, we might add.

Every day, the pull of the new video iPod grows stronger-- can't... hold... out... much... longer. We haven't seen anyone watching episodes of Lost (or worse) on the F-Train yet. Have you? And are there any other NYC-related features for the new iPod that we should know about?

Bathroom Diaries isn't an iPod feature, but it should be. And Slate's audio tour of the Met's modern art section is pretty good.

no iPod movies on the F yet, but plenty of of movies on the Playstation Portable...

Why is it that the Gothamist jumps at every chance to refer to the subway as a place to get mugged? You guys get mugged alot? I doubt you even ride the subway.

my friend just called to tell me he saw two, young, "thugish" looking guys watching porn on an ipod and shoving it within viewing range of some poor woman sitting nearby in order to harass her. i knew it was only a matter of time.

I agree. Jake is making the Extra Extras more thick than say 3-4 bold ones.
