Studying Up on Tomorrow's Ballot Proposals

Tomorrow, there are four ballot proposals that New York City voters will be able to cast a "yes" or "no" on. Unfortunately, many people don't know about them. So, Gothamist recommend you spend a little time reading about these ballot proposals before you head out and vote. The Campaign Finance Board site has descriptions of what each ballot measure says, as well as pro and con arguments for them:
- Ballot Measure 1, for NY State: Budget reform
- Ballot Measure 2, for NY State: The Transportation Bond Act
- Ballot Measure 3, for NYC: Ethics Codes for Administrative Judges
- Ballot Meaure 4, for NYC: Balanced budget and other city fiscal requirements

Gotham Gazette has a helpful guide to the "fine print" of these ballot measures. And you can see what other candidates, besides Mayor or Borough President, you will be able to vote for tomorrow by looking through the CFB's website. The NY Times says to vote "no" on Question 1about budget reform (it'll cause even more problems) and "yes" on Question 2, the Transportation Bond Act. The NY Sun says to vote "no" on Questions 1, 2, and 4, the Daily News says "no" to Question (or Proposition - same thing!) 1 and "yes" to Question 2, the Post says "no" to Question 1 and 2.

The polls open tomorrow morning at 6AM and close at 9PM. You can find your polling place using the online locator or by calling 1-866-VOTE-NYC.
