I agree with Dahl, et al. I felt the character was much more subtle in her immediate presence. is someone like selma blair too dark? i think she has the thoughtful manner about her....

I'm with margaret - smg way too sporty and cheerleaderish - someone more like subdued and intellectual for sure.

So did not picture SMG. The character is intellecual, literary...maybe she can pull it off. I mean, I love Buffy, but I would have more pictured Reese Witherspoon in it.

I can't remember- which story is the one with Jane? Because in the title story, Alec Baldwin would just be creepy. But I can't remember the other ones.
