This Week's Comedy Recommendations!

Andres du Bouchet is a busy man. A few weeks ago we recommended his Naked Trampoline Hamlet monologues, which our friends at the Apiary could not curb their enthusiasm for in their coverage. This week he begins a two month run of Hilarilogues at the PIT[154 W.29th Street] with each show promising a mix of new and different material. Thursdays in November and December at 11pm. $5.

2005_11_artsdemetrimartin.jpgBy popular demand, Demetri Martin: These Are Jokes will play additional performances this weekend on November 3, 4 & 5. These Are Jokes was originally set for 8 performances but to appease his palindrome loving fans, it has been extended through Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights. Shows are at 9pm at The Village Theatre (158 Bleecker Street). $15

Tell Your Friends is a weekly comedy show produced by Liam McEneany and Mike Collins. Monday’s lineup contains five comedians including Gothamist’s comedy crush Todd Hanson from the Onion, a house band and an appearance by Gothamist’s ukulele fueled pop band crush The Hazzards. Full lineup is located on McEneany’s blog. Tell Your Friends is at The Lolita Bar [266 Broome St] Monday at 8pm. FREE!
