CXB Threatened to Go "Goetz" On Another Reporter

2005_11_nyo.jpgThe plot thickens with revelations as to why mayoral wannbe and rabblerouser Christopher X. Brodeur was arrested yesterday: Brodeur had apparently been leaving threatening voicemails for Ben Smith, a political reporter for the Observer, because Brodeur was unhappy with a post Smith wrote on the Observer's political blog, The Politicker. Gothamist isn't sure which column Brodeur didn't like (was it this one, noting that Bronx primary votes meant for Fernando Ferrer went to Brodeur instead), but something was enough to make CXB leave this message for Smith: "I could shoot you in the f- - -ing face. I'd be a hero like Bernhard Goetz." And then Broduer would advocate for squirrels? No, thank you. The police are investiating Brodeur's threats to another reporter. And we'll expect another crazed missive from CXB in a few hours.

And read CXB's letter protesting his arrest.

Since when are people arrested for leaving voice mail messages? I've known women who have been threatened with violence for months and physically pushed around by their ex-bfs and the cops don't give a shit at all. "We can't do anything until something HAPPENS!" What bullshit.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Brodeur and find that he has added a new dimension to the term nuisance -

all these cxb stories are b-o-r-i-n-g

a nut is a nut no matter how you crack it

Funny, but when I ran as a protest candidate for state legislature, Gothamist declined to pay attention, as did most of the media, despite my attempts to call attention to what I was trying to do. That goes for the media in general, except for one local columnast who wrote a little about what I had to say just before the election.

In fact, outside of a few races dubbed competitive, there was NO coverage anywhere about ANY challengers for state legislature of the House of Representatives. The Times had one -- on a candidate who was not on the ballot, running as a write in by leaving graffitti messages.

I thought at least Gothamist would pay attention, since one of the concerns that prompted me to run was generational equity. Now that I've done my civic duty, I've gone back to worrying about my own kids (more screwed the you, who will be more screwed than me).

But tell me, who is the crazy one, CXB or me? It's not something I could pull off, but if that's what it takes, I'm happy to see him raise some hell.

i had chris on one of my shows and found him to be really sweet & nice. he is certainly outspoken, but wasnt the least bit rude, annoying or confrontational to anyone. he couldnt have been easier to work with...

Will someone please explain to me why this horse's ass gets press coverage? He's an anti-social loudmouth -- why does anyone care? He's not even entertaining.

I'd rather read missives written than urine on the street than another word about this pathetic loser. Puh-leeze.

I am amazed at how the law looks the other way at real crime. I, myself, was threatened numerous time by a male, and the cops always say "we can't do anything till he does something."I, too, know other woman who have experienced this. I have had an ORDER OF PROTECTION out on someone who was REALLY insane, only to have been frighteningly dissapointed by the lack of response from the law. Christopher may upset some people, but the facts speak for themself--He didn't do anything to hurt anyone in a way where he should be imprisoned. I am sick of this govt, and I really wish the masses would rise up and against it. oops, will i go to prison now for saying such a thing?!

I'd like you all to note that the people who pretend to dislike me are always extremely VAGUE.

EX: they just throw empty ad hominem insults.

WHY can't they cite ONE bad thing I did or ONE crazy thing I did?

Because they're lying, and they could even be govt employees or media scumbags trying to do damage control when I prove over and over that they lie to the public.

I dare my "critics" to name ONE of my "100 INNOVATIONS FOR NYC" that is not smarter than anything any politician has said in this sorry nation.

And if I'm so crazy, HOW do I prove in ALL my arrests that the NYPD and City Hall and the Media LIED, and 100% of juries so far have UNANIMOUSLY agreed with me?

Hell, if the recent "harassment" arrests aren't phony, then HOW did I beat the LAST 20 fake harassment arrests, and WHY did Bloomberg pay me $35K in 2003 to settle one of my false arrest lawsuits for the EXACT same charge of supposedly "threatening" people in govt and corporate media?

And what will it take before more of you stop believing the endless bullshit by govt and media?

In 1984 Bernard Goetz, like David Berkowitz, took an unlicensed firearm, concealed it on his person, and roamed the New York subways. He deliberately sat near a group of young, African-American kids who looked threatening to him. Saying nothing, Goetz waited for the kids to say something. In a Daily News interview a subway employee who witnessed the shooting confirmed that Goetz had been looking for trouble. Goetz hated minorities and admitted having hoped for exactly the scenario that transpired. He then proceeded to shoot at the black people in the car, and even shot Darrel Cabey twice who was begging “Please don’t shoot me again.” "I was once mugged by a black person," Goetz asserted, "and therefore it's OK to shoot repeatedly the next time a black person approaches me aggressively.” Since Berkowitz killed white people, and Goetz black people, he received less than a year in jail from a white jury and white judge. But a non-racist jury later awarded Cabey $43 million, so there was justice. Later Goetz would become famous making radio and television appearances with racist child killer Joel Steinberg and Christopher Brodeur.

In 1985 Goetz and his friends threw plutonium in the water supply hoping to kill many jews and blacks in New York. Ed Koch drank the poisoned water and had halucinations, but he did not die. He also hired 2 mafioso in a green Cadilac to kidnap and kill the youths. Often things don't work as planned in New York, but this stuff should not be tolerated.

And note that I did NOT threaten Ben Smith.

To say "I could shoot you..." in a vigilante style, is NOT a threat, under the law OR federal court case law.

To say "I should kill the president" is not a threat.

Not even close, according to the Supreme Court.

And in fact, I can prove that Ben Smith's LIES to cover up Bloomberg scandals actually cost lives.

It's "manslaughter": negligence that causes one death is a CRIME. A very serious one, and Ben Smith is just as guilty as a Judith Miller and her editors at the NYTimes who refused to fact check any oftheir WMD stories which helped steal over a trillion tax dollars, slash health care, and murder over 10,000 people!

You could jail these accomplices tomorrow, which is why most reporters suck up to govt. They may break the law, but at least they're doing it in service to people who ENFORCE the law.

Now, if only I was that kind of whore...
