Tonight, Tonight
Come join us TONIGHT at our Movable Hype Anniversary Show. Just a year ago we threw our first show/concert/party at the Knitting Factory. Since then we've actually thrown 4 more there, tonight is the 5th. In addition we've had a slightly smaller version of the show at Pianos and one comedy (Laughable Hype) show at Tonic. Technically that means this is lucky number 7, but we'll still call it 5 (because we never were very good with numbers.)
So the details for tonight are as follows:
When: TONIGHT, 8pm sharp(ish)
Where: The Knitting Factory main space (on Leonard Street between Broadway and Church)
Hosted by: Aziz Ansari with possible mystery guest cohost (Rob Huebel was cohosting until Los Angeles stole him away at the last minute. We never did really like LA.)
Bands: The Capitol Years (11:30), The Cloud Room (10:30), Snowden (9:30), Bravo Silva (8:30)
Deejays: Husky Gentleman (Spin), Brother Lawrence
Drink Specials!: Free beer during our Happy Hour (8pm until the free beer runs out!)...so get there on time! There will also be $3 Bud Selects all night long!
The Cloud Room is celebrating their own past year with us, and afterwards will be taking the party over to Corner Billiards (11th St and 4th Ave). So once the Captitol Years ends our night with their set - don't go home, head over to the afterparty! Keep your wristbands and ticket stubs from the show and you'll get a free drink at Corner Billiards. Enjoy the deejay stylings of the Cloud Room's own DJ J.
