Parking Garage Fire in Chelsea

WNBC 4 reports that two cars are on fire at a Chelsea parking garage at 422 West 15th. While this raises all sorts of questions about vehicular spontaneous combutsion, the A, C, and E trains are bypassing 14th Street.

The smoke was being blown due east, it was almost unbearable in the east village this morning. Lotta smoke.

So that's what the problem was. At 34th on the E train, the conductor said it was "due to track conditions"...

Sadly, this parking garage is across from NY1 so a lot of the employees cars are parked in there, as well as their mobile units. Poor Gary Anthony Ramsay!
