The moment people who are dying for some sort of royal-related mishap have been waiting for has come: Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, have arrived in New York on their first visit to the colonies. Apparently, the British idea of a memorial for the British citizens who died at the World Trade Center is some sort of engraved gong. But Camilla did look right at home in this AP photo, as she has the "something smell funny" look anyone else would have if they had to listen to George Pataki blathering on. The British press is having a field day with the American press calling their visit a "bore."
Tonight, the old married couple will head to the Museum of Modern Art for a cocktail reception, with guests like Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Jerry Seinfeld and Rudy Giuliani. Here's hoping they get totally bombed.
