Yeah, I can see you really became a paramedic because you care for your fellow man. Nope, just another paycheck collector. I don't see you screaming about all the drivers and pedestrians who don't yield for ambulances or police cruisers.

"self centered, self rightous [sic]"? Pot, kettle, black.

As one who regularly is forced to suffer through these self centered, self rightous asswipes on a regular basis blocking traffic, I look forward to seeing as many of them hit, struck, (and hopefully permanently incapacitated) as possible. Kudos to NYPD for taking the bikes, and holding them for the full 48 hrs.
NYC Paramedic, who has regularly dealt with the "cyclists" failure to yield, and deliberately block the ambulance from getting through-- gonna start running them down.

Okay, one last time: the term is CYCLIST! It betrays complete ignorance to call bicycle riders "bikers." Pick up any bicycling magazine sometime. Nowhere inside will you find the term "biker." Not once. Nada. Zilch. Meanwhile, pick up an issue of BIKER magazine. You'll find lots of leather and gas-fueled heavy metal inside, but not a trace of lycra or a single bicycle inside. They used to say in the old GI Joe cartoon, "Knowing is half the battle." Now that you know, fight the other half of the battle by practicing.
