My life's been basically bland today. More or less nothing seems worth thinking about. My mind is like an empty room. I've more or less been doing nothing to speak of. Not much on my mind recently.

I don't know what you're talking about; Spanglish was a great movie. The sandwich is delicious, though, I've been making variations of it for years. :)

The scene in Spanglish when he makes that sandwich is the only good part in the entire movie. My mouth was watering. re: above comments, bacon is smoked, you can eat it "raw" and you'll be fine (the good kind you can at least, I dont buy supermarket bacon.) Butter being bad for you is a myth as well, just drink plenty of red wine and you'll live long and be happy and have excellent libidos, like the French.

Excellent point: probably not a good idea to let the raw bacon touch anything. That was just a presentation pic... all the items touching the bacon were cooked after the fact.
