This is why I never bought into the whole "cops are heroes" bullshit. Most of them are like the cop that got caught. They do whatever they want because they know they can get away with it most of the time. Of course some stupid ones like this idiot are too stupid for their own good.

Aren't tickets to Boston like $25 each way on Jet Blue right now? Who needs a bus?

Helen, you forget that it takes about 1.5 hours to get to the airport by subway and Air Train, and you have to go through security, wait for the boarding process and then sit on the runway on a 23-plane line, which totals up to another hour.

More to the point, Limoliner has been around for ages now.

I don't subscribe to the assumption that all cops are heroes either, but the NYPD guys I know are pretty decent people. The same way one can't paint with a broad brush positively goes the same way when one of several thousand does something ridiculously stupid. And while I doubt most of them are "heroes", I'd definitely say they're braver than the average person. What would most people say to an HR interview for a low-paying job that dealt with difficult customers and the possibility of being shot at or assaulted in the workplace? I was miserable once dealing with abusive people on a phone-solicitation job in college. I can't imagine what it must be like to have to deal with that crap in person, and I was calling supposedly upstanding citizens.

Amtrak stinks. I'd rather take my chances immolating on a Chinatown bus for my money.

It's about $100 round trip on JetBlue from JFK to Beantown with all the taxes and fees. It will also take you longer than your flight to get from Manhattan to JFK via the subway+AirTrain to keep things on the cheap...

But hey, the TSA boob grab/anal probe during check-in is free! For some of us, it's all the action we're gettin' this week.

If you book a round trip on Limoliner this week,15% off, $134. The price includes a meal served by an attendant and a movie. Wireless internet connection at each seat for those who just have to work. Clean bathroom too. This is the only stressfree way to travel between Boston and NYC.

Amtrak is stressfull? I've never had a problem.
