Marathon Mashup!

Google Maps Mania spotted a very timely mashup: Brian Timoney's super-duper marthon map. The map has kilometer and mile markers, and shows the full path of the race. Most important, however, it shows where the port-o-potties are-- because nothing is worse than running 26 miles and not being able to stop to pee.

Interested in finding out who else is writing google map mash-ups for marathons. I've just finished writing one for the plymouth (uk) half marathon but also added the xml of the route for downloading into GPS (after conversion of course) you can check it out at www.plymouthhalfmarathon.co.uk and it would be greatfull of comments. But one thing I would like a comment on is the Route XML - I couldn't find any existing schemas to work from so I've added some gml into it, comments on this will be helpfull for future marathons.
