Jesus Hates the Yankees? Well, Obviously

2005_10_jesushates.jpgWhy haven't the Yankees won the World Series since 2000? Is it their lack of playoff-ready players? Their pitching? Nope. It's because Jesus hates the Yankees. At least according to the t-shirt from Busted Tees. That Jesus fellow is so picky. Maybe Jesus just doesn't like The Boss and his wild spending on veteran players instead of developing talent internally. Oh, what can the Yankees do to win the favor of Jesus again?

So who does Jesus pull for? The Padres? They made the playoffs, but were promptly eliminated by the Cardinals. And those Cardinals, despite a 9th inning comeback last night, aren't looking too good. Besides, the St. Louis Cardinals are actually birds...or are they. We hear that Jesus fellow is a little sneaky.

thats BS. They have have won 26 world series titles, more than any other team, a championship winning percentage greater than any other proefessional team in all of sports. Maybe he's just a little annoyed with them right now, who knows. What we infer though is that the people who printed up this T-shirt are complete idiots, have no knowledge of baseball history, or Jeus for that matter.

Hi. This is Mike Cameron from the New York Mets. I think this is a sad argument. God is supposed to love everyone. Hate is a strong word. Hate. I think God does not hate the yankees. I hate the yankees. See y'all on the field!
